Re: Age of documents

azo wrote:Another question, how old can supporting documents, i.e bank statements wage slips, be in order to support a settlement application. I was told it was up to 3 months old. Is this still the case.
All supporting documents SHOULD NOT be more than 28 days old before applying for settlement visa.

In my letter of appeal, I stated that her degree result was not ready during application and promised to send the EITLS result within the next 2 weeks. To my surprise, after 10 weeks, my w...

Re: Online bank statements

Hi, With regard to fiance visa's, the UKBA guidance says they will only accept print outs of online bank statements if the account is online only. I have a regular current account with a high street bank and switched to online statements years ago. The bank informs me that it is impossible to get b...

My brother, every one waiting for ECM review or court appeal has stress, you need to wait till the time when the ECM gives his/her feedback. I have been waiting for ECM review for my wife visa refusal since November 2012, up till now there's no response/ feedback, several letters have been written t...

Documents getting lost by ECO's is not new to UKBA when deciding applications to issue visa. I will endeavour you to ask your spouse to re-send another payslips ( I doubt it if his/her employer may be able to issue original ones) if not, you can ask them for print out, stamped and dated by a manager...

I think you should fill in the date that appears on you employer's letter, BUT please don't forget to include your P60 because it comes from the same company, don't also forget that the letter from your employer should address all requirements that UKBA expect in the employer's letter, with 6 months...

@Mirabbelz, Are you a native of country that is exempted from writing English test?, if so, you will be fine with your appeal, but if not, if at all you write and pass English test after the decision, this will be regarded as new evidence.

My candid advise to you is that, all the 6 payslips that you will submit should reflect in your bank statements, for example, your Febuary salary will reflect in the March bank statement ( not quite sure, if this applies to you). By my calculation, if you must to submit March bank statement, you mus...

From my experience, if the date on NARIC letter indicates the date after the decision was made, it will count as new evidence, therefore, the appeal will fail, as the ECM will have expect you to provide this evidence during your application.
