You need a new work permit/fresh application; the new employer must apply on your behalf and comply with the specific tier 2-3....tc requirements. Your WP is only valid if you are working for the sponsor.
After you stopped working for the sponsor, you have 28 days to leave or get a new EC.
Count your days and read about the gaps, you may not be able to claim continuous employment for ILR purposes.
