Unlikely that you would get approval in Germany; the consulate would ask you to be either a national or resident of germany. A tourist would not be allowed to request this

It is fishy; sounds very strange that the WP holders is a mere employee and the "dependant" is a highly regarded Director! If I were a case worker I would get suspicious.....if you have done everything by the book, then there is no specific restriction and yes, the dependant can be a direc...

Siram, This is very easy: - You would have to get a WP extension before the 17th of March 2013. Once you get the extension you will be able to apply for the ILR visa. Think of it this way: For ILR, person must prove 5 years living in the UK - WP valid for 5 years - if person arives more than 28 days...

Easy Test

My wife and I passed the test; the information is useful, important and would help you understand new things about the UK life.
it is the minimum you could ask from anyone wanting to live in the Uk permanently;

The fraud just shows how people abuse the immigration system!

They tend not to check if your WP has been cancelled; most likely you will not face major problems. It is up to the case worker and up to the documentation you presented. You broke the terms of your visa and stayed illegaly (for one day), most likely you wouldn't have a problem. Try and read about t...

That would be based on the assessment of the case worker; you understand that they seek third party verification of the information you are providing, your resignation letter does not provide that confirmation. Not enforceable;
You can write anything on a contract; a whole different thing is what you can actually enforce!

look for advise and quickly show them that this is the end of the matter; 4 years without change is not logical!

rajumr; 1. Does claiming reduncancy payment create any problems for my ILR application? I'm NOT claiming unemployment benefits though. I'm not sure of the tax impli...

You can change WP in the UK without reseting the clock; plan well ahead of the changes to avoid any gaps between the WP, plan well to avoid having to seek entry clearance abroad (that could be considered a break). SWPQ;
I would recommend that you obtain a letter from NARIC showing the equivalence of the ACCA level 2 and the Bachelors degree; may sound a straightforward equivalence to you, however not everyone is familiar with the accreditation.
