Good things come to those who wait! (Guinness)

I've had to wait 4 months to get my citizenship approved, but all finished now.
Feel a bit empty though. Maybe I should migrate to another country and start the process all over again... (joking).

I have a question: If I just got naturalised by another country while waiting for british nationality, should I tell UKBA, or shouldn't bother? What do you think? I am ...

Guys, lets keep it to the topic. I too have a lot to say about British Govt politics, double standards and etc, but will it make any difference at all? The truth is we are all here visitors and until we become proper citizens, we can be thrown out like puppies at ANY TIME. It is very tempting once y...

hm

bergdorf, all my respect man!!! I think the new scheme is much clearer and fairer to people. The salary levels are not that bad at all and easy passable. Young guys (under 29) should prove about 26000 per annum and more experienced should show 40000. These figures, I beleive weren't made up from the...

Yeah. This is an interesting topic for me too. I am exploring the working opportunities in Cambridge and will eventually move to live there. What I have found so far is the following: 1. The accomodation is not much cheaper than in London. Example: When I lived in North London (Walthamstow) I rented...

I filed my HSMP application in the beginning of October 2004. No response till now. I am now longing at least to get my documents back, even with a refusal, so I would be able to re-apply with even better supporting documents. Nevertheless, I hope to get a positive answer and forget sooner about all...

As far as I know, even if you have applied for an HSMP visa, you are not allowed to stay in UK if you current visa is expired. That is why the HSMP team returned all passports/travel documents to people and do not require ones anymore.
Is it true?

Paki, I reckon do not rely so much on the uni letter as they do all the assesments from NARIC only. If your uni is not recognisable by NARIC, you can hardly have chances to claim your master degree points. I tried to fight with them over my uni when I got the assessment, but it was all just waste of...
