ILR Earning Calculation

Hi I am applying for ILR in Tier 1 (General) category. Question is Does Earning counts for basic salary or Gross Salary, Basic Salary as in before Pension Contribution deduction or after deduction ? Re: No ILR appointments at Solihull PEO

I seem to have same issue. Like someone said above that when you try without dependants only then it shows few appointments but only for immediate appointments nothing after 2 weeks. Not sure if Solihull doesn't release any appointment slots too early OR it is really busy :S

Re: Cohabitation Documents ILR Set(O)

Do you have a TV license? You can perhaps change the direct debit information, and they will send you a confirmation letter. And surely you must have bank account, and you can order bank statements? Take any letters from Tesco, Boots, etc etc if you have any. I heard that they help too. Thanks pich...

Re: ILR - Solihull v Croydon

Last year when I had my Tier 1 extension from Soulihul office, the lady charged the fee and kept all the documents without even looking at my application. So I guess it's now same every where. Furthermore, now you have to pay full fee when booking an appointment, instead of paying on the day of appo...

Re: are online payslips acceptable for ILR application

You don't necessarily need to get them stamped, I have had my two extensions and for my family and never got any objection that why my payslips aren't stamped. Though I printed them on letterhead and attached a reference letter from my company stating my annual salary... Not all companies do that

Consultation on fees and charging, immigration and visas

Seems like UKBA isn't happy already what they are charging from us, and are now reviewing fees again. & for that reason they want input from general public as well. I think it would be good idea if everyone let them know of our difficulties as they are already charging fees too much. Here is the...

its very interesting, I am no expert but in normal circumstances you are allowed to apply within 28 days so I suppose your wife should be considered for ILR. I recommend fill out both application forms for ILR and dependent and try to fight for ILR first if case worker say it cant be done then may b...

Hi I need to get me Tier 1 Visa extension next month but I have just noticed that my Passport is expiring in Sept. I understand the frustration as we all are going through this phase. Just wondering, can it not be challenged in Court? To me this seems unfair, they increased fee last year from 1200 to 1800 Tier1 Main Applicant PEO and now another increase... They want to suck every penny out of us that we make he...
