Re: Schengen Visa Help

1- Is it possible to get a multi-entry schengen visa given my itinerary? in simple words, no. and sometimes it actually make them suspecious and refuse your application and other times you could pay for a multi and they only grant you a single entry visa. only if you have/had a UK visa AND a US visa...

Re: should i keep my passport on me at all times?

I don't really mean about the borders or travelling. i mean walking in the streets, going out..etc because Ireland doesn't have EU National ID and as i wasn't born in Ireland my Driving License will not be a proof of me being an EU citizen or an Irish citizen because the plac...

Re: 2014 Citizenship Approvals

Granting a certificate of naturalisation is not a right, it is a descretion of the minister, in other words, if she is not happy she has all the power to refuse any application she wants. just to advise the fellow members here, it is not good to call the INIS or ask them about batches or even anythi...

The average processing time when Alan Shatter was in office 1 year. Only from August 2013 when he said the backlog is cleared that it started to be around 6 months or less.

Re: What's maximum stay under a Ireland visit visa a year?

90 days for each visa but the immigration officer has the right to choose the length of your stay and even to decide whether or not you can enter the state... but if you have strong ground to extended your stay to its maximum period 90 days, go to GNIB at 13-14 Burgh Quay. hope this helps.

Re: Parents - Dependent Visa from Pakistan

i think 75k is total of three years...
but as far as i know, you need to prove their dependency on you, to show them that you send them constantly money for at least one year and that they do not have another source of income and if you can, bring medical certs and things like that.

@Bebo, I understand where u're coming from, its of a noble stance, but we live in a world where only Aboriginals are regarded as indigen, hence the difference.U'll notice that prior to 2005,any1 born in ireland take up Irish citizenship automatically. This should be a model adopted with reasoning, but i...

Re: fitzgerald vs shatter

Do not call any person who holds a passport based on his colour/sex/origin, non citizen of that country.
the reason why you had to dig about Shatter in the first place is the reason why you think he is not Irish. to me he is just Irish. you see the full stop there?

Re: Citizenship and Irish re entry visa

you cant apply for a re-entry visa without your GNIB card. Cert of Naturalisation would let you enter Ireland but would not let you fly from any airport to Ireland. There is an emergency passport which you can apply to, but you need a really strong reason. I dont remember if it was you or someone el...
