My partner got his invitation letter today too!! He also applied in July 2012.

Yes, it says in the last sentence at the bottom, that 1000 candidates will be participating the ceremony.

By the way, we were emailing inis for the last time yesterday (and we have decided after their reply not to bother them anymore, since it wouldnt change anything anyway). The answer we got was first the same as in march ... that they are still process the application to establish his good character ...

Anybody who got approval applied on July'12 or later thanks My partner has applied in July 2012 and we were hoping to be approved already, because his cousins wife got approved within 6 month but unfortunatelly it didnt happen to him so far ... I dont think anyone thinks about complaining during their application process. But I have to agree, they are quick at answering emails, though the answers are not always satisfying.
