Re: Canadian wanting to get married in the UK

Thanks for the response all.

Of course, both of them are looking to go back to the US, but a marriage in UK is just due to health circumstances of a relative.

Anybody can advise on the timeliness for this. Is there an expedited service.

I would have imagined them being part of Commonwealth they wouldn't take a visa. Can someone please clarify....

Re: Is P60 for each year of 5 yrs must for ILR??

Hi All, Hope you guys are well. I am going to apply for ILR soon as I completed 5 yrs on Tier 1 (general) but I have read mixed kind of information regarding requirement of P60 in a few forums. Some where it says you do need to present 5 years P60 and some where It says just payslips and bank state...

I doubt HO will be able tp provide it.
Can you contact the test center.

I think HO can still retrieve your results based on your name and test center name.

write a letter to that effect

What is your current visa status ?

I am assuming you are on t1 depended, that you are eligible for ILR except for LIUK failiure and hencec applied for t1 dependent, and your husband has ILR now?

If yes, you can definitely apply for ILR.

My only other suggestion would be avoid Croydon, because theier they check your P60s more than other PEOs.

HMRCH check if you pay tax, not UKBA. the case workes will not know how to calculate tax etc. What you have understand here is, UKBA are keen to check if you were economically active, why, because you are on a work visa here and they expect you to have met the relevant visa criteria. hence it is a p...

Re: Tax query back 2010

Firstly, it is advisable to pay taxes as claimed, which is needless to say basic. Secodnly, they will not be keen on checking, they might however ask you for all your P60 / other tax proofs. But doubt they will look at it to that level of detail esp dating back to 5 years. Also. only croydon PEO see...

Re: ILR 12 month income doubt

No problem, as long as you have enough earnings for the points claim and you have sufficient points to qualify for ILR. on tier 1 you arent required to be always employed, you just have to have the earning, you can earn all those in one month and enjoy for the rest 11, doesnt matter. They might look...

Dear Friends, I am an avid reader of this forum and previously received help regarding my Visa queries. I received the BRP card for the ILR today. Few q...

One of my friends applied for Tier 1 Extension at the window appointment. He was given a confirmation letter mentioning that he's got the ILR. He thought it was probably given by mistake. But now he has received his BRP which also states that he has been given ILR. What should he now do? Should he ...

U r fine. No need to apply for extension as you anyways do not have your passport with you. Also, as per ukba your stay is valid if your application is under consideration. Also, in the event of unfortunate refusal you will have an option of applying for extension or appealing. I don't think that 9...
