Quitting while on Tier 2 ICT.

How much time does one get before one has to leave the country?

My assumption is, after one puts in his/her papers, you serve the notice period of the company, whatever that might be, and you get an additional 28 days. Is this correct?

Can someone please show me the documentation online?

Cheers,
H

Tier 2 G, what after 6 years ?

Folks, I'm on a Tier 2 ICT visa, having arrived here in December 2010. Seeing the new rule change which restricts one to a maximum of 6 years on a Tier 2 G, in the event of switching, what happens after you complete 6 years in total? Does completion of 6 years mean you cannot work here anymore in th...

Thanks all :-)

Last question, Tier 2 G is tied to one employer or you can work for any company? i.e. in that 3 year period you can work for different companies?

Ah Ban.s thanks!

So, suppose I shift to Tier 2 (G) in April, how long can I stay in the UK?

Also calculating 5 years from now, that makes in 2018. How do the rule changes post 2016 make a difference?

Experts please help!! Tier 2 ICT -> Tier 2 G -> ILR

Hello,

Dec 2010 - Tier 2 ICT. Currently on this.
Can convert to Tier 2 General category.

Is ILR possible after 5 years? When does the clock start?

Thanks,
HM

Thanks Gagan. Could you please give me some details on this. I thought the rules changed post April 2010?

Do I need to change to Tier 2 General? Or do I need to remain with the same employer?

Thanks,
HM

Am I eligible for ILR in 2015?

Hello :-)

I came to the UK in Dec 2010 on an Established Staff Tier 2 ICT visa. It can be extended for 2 more years in Dec 2013.

Am I eligible for ILR after completing 5 years here or have the rules changed? Please help as the UKBA site is quite confusing !!

Am I eligible for ILR?

Hello All :-)

I came here in Dec 2010 on an Established Staff Tier 2 ICT Visa. It can be extended in Dec 2013 for 2 more years to Dec 2015.

Am I eligible to apply for ILR after the 5 years? I'm not sure as the rules on the UKBA website are a bit confusing.

Thanks,
HM
