Did you receive your BRP card? I too did it in Solihull PEO on 03rd May at an appointment time of 10.20 a.m.

I am yet to receive the BRP card. I have a travel requirement next week and so curious to know.

In this link they say don't apply before 28 days. In other words you can apply if you are within 28 days. I know several folks who have applied before 5 years but within the 28 day window.

If you do in-country Tier 2 General switch it should not ideally reset the ILR clock. I believe you will still need a letter from your ex-employer on your absences in UK

Hi Robby - Let me put it this way.. I have not read any rule in UKBA which states that Tier 2 extension cannot be done beyond 5 years. My company has extended my visa now for 2 years and this takes me beyond 5 years.
