Re: Judges from First-tier Tribunal have different decision

CR001 wrote:How do you expect anyone to offer advice without knowing what A and B points of refusal are?
I don't expect anybody to give advise on the reasons, just the question if the second Judge has the right to overturn the previous decision?

Thanks!

Judges from First-tier Tribunal have different decision

ECO has refused my wife's application as a spouse, reasons include A and B (sorry I don't give the details). She then lodged the appeal to First-tier Tribunal. The Judge from First-tier Tribunal sustained the reason A and said reason B was not material. Because of this, The Jude dismissed the appeal...

Re: Do I need to write my full name on the back of Bankers D

I am going to use Bankers Draft to pay the application fee. I found in the guidance that applicant must write his full name on the back of cheque or postal order if he uses these means. But there is no statement about Bankers Draft. Do I need to write my full name on the Bankers Draft either? Also,...

Technically there is a difference between A British High Commission and A British Embassy. As D4109125 advised, it doesn't really matter what you write in this but if you want to be précised, I would suggest write something like British Embassy Beijing if you are talking about Beijing in China (jus...

So long as you stipulate your BRP reference number, full name, DOB and address on a cover letter they should be able to link the application without the need of an acknowledgment reference. Thanks for your reply. I understand. Can you please also tell me if it's better to post them together in an e...

To link you would use the acknowledgement letter reference number when the main ILR is submitted. Yes, this is my question. I checked my previous acknowledge letters. Some use the same HO reference number. So, if this is the case, then the dependant may use it in the new application to link their a...

Use the last HO reference number you have, it's not really that important. I really don't understand why the post is moved to here. This is another question and irrelevant to this post. This is important because somebody may need to link their dependant's application to the main applicant's one. If...

Is the HO reference the same with your previous ones?

I got a question. I believe most of ILR applicants would already have a couple of HO reference numbers when making previous applications. I am wondering if the one when you are applying for your ILR is the same with your previous ones, particularly, for those who are under 10 year's long residence r...

What does "with a view to settlement" mean?

In Paragraph 302 of Immigration Rules, it says " with a view to settlement". I am wondering what it means? Does a Tier 2 general visa means it has a view to settlement? So does the dependent visa of T2 G? Thanks!

SET(F) or inclusion of child in mother's application may be possible too. However, it's best to avoid child's possible refusal and associated fees by simply not making an unnecessary application for leave to remain under the complex Immigration rules . Simplest is to register the UK-born child as a...

Do I need to post application forms together?

I am going to apply for my ILR under long residence route. As my dependent's visa will expire shortly after my submission, she will have to send her application at the same time, to avoid overstay. I know her application is a separate one due to LR route's nature. However, one thing I am not sure is...

No . Thanks Vinny, your answer is always strait to the point. Another similar question. In immigration rules, e.g. 298(ii)(b), it says the child "was given leave to enter or remain with a view to settlement under paragraph 302 or Appendix FM". So, if a child was given a T2 dependent visa,...
