Re: Kid is In India , and Parents in UK ILR, which visa

If you are in UK, you can probably apply for registration using MN1.
No financial requirement.

Just your ILR copy, UK birth certificate for your son and your marriage certificate are needed.

Re: Re-entering UK on ILR child passport close to expiry

Will this be a problem during re-entry into the UK?
No. You will be fine, as long as the passport/visa is valid on the day you enter the UK

Re: 'Degree taught in English' requirement

This is what confused me initially, please see below No confusuon here. You need to prove the following a) The degree you hold is equivalent to UK bachelor degree b) The degree is taught/researched in english. Now, to prove the above two points, you may need to access the PBS calculator as Tier-1 mi...

Re: 'Degree taught in English' requirement

You don't need the NARIC letter. If the degree is recognized in PBS calculator that is more than enough and if you have letter from university that's a bonus as well.
I second that. I did use PBS printout and degree certificate and it was accepted.

Given the complexities involved, I would advice you to better take a english test to clear the lanuage requirement rather than risk your application.
It is pretty easy and straight-forward.

Re: Dependent's ILR/BC

Cohabitation covering two years is needed. Although there is no hard&fast rules, you are expected to submit documents from atleast three different sources covering the whole 2 years, atleast one for every 3 to 4 months. Anyletter on your wife's name would count (like even Tesco clubcard, GP/hosp...

Such IT glitches are not rare and heppened numerous times before.

You have absolutely no reason to worry, if you had any problems in the past which was not disclosed in your application.

As per the MN1 guide, the name appearing on the resitration certificate will only be amended in most exceptional circumstances. Unfortunately, your case is pretty uncommon, and so it is not possible to definitely tell the time frame. Provided, you send them the child birth certificate with your appl...

Re: Dependent's ILR/BC

Marriage certificate is neither mandatory nor sufficient document to prove cohabitation. But, if you have it, no harm in submitting it. But, you may need documents for cohabitation proof. Three application? You mean your two kids MN1 registration + wife's SET O form? You cannot send them together as...

Only absences from UK need mentioning in the letter.
If you take holidays and been inside UK, no need for this to be listed in your employer absence letter.

Your best bet is 1) First book the earliest available slot and make sure you have a booked test in April. 2) Keep looking the LIUK websiet for cancellations (as frequent as you can) The cancellations do come occasionally, which you need to grab immediately. If you are lucky and got a slot, then comp...
