Some posts on EC state : [1.] Says VAYU (EC in CANBERRA) - Just spoke to the EC lady at the UK high commission in Canberra. She informed me that I can delay my entry date into the UK up to 3 months after the date I apply for the EC. I specifically asked the hypothetical question, does this mean an ...

HSMP is a scheme to get (prospective) economy and exchequer contributing 'workers'. U will have to strongly look @ - as to whether yr work experience qualifies as graduate level one ? (Remember, u r not claiming points for earnings ..... so in the view of the case-worker, it might not clearly be add...

I don't think u will be refused entry on a valid visitors visa.
As for the HSMP, be persistent with the tracing of the additional document. Alternatively, u cld re-send or re-apply.

U shld be alright ..... except that u r possibly listed as a potential competitor to Mrs. Cherie Blair

On a serious note, yr profession might not be one in cringing demand. Hence a bit of delay.

From the postings available on the board, expect it sooner than later. Most likely towards the end of Feb/beginning of Mar, if the recent trend is anything to go by .... I have a feeling that the applications are being "batch mailed" two or three times a month.
