Yeah they got the visa finally on Wednesday! god knows why it took so long as some of the other applicants who applied along with them got it in under 2 weeks

Applied at Hyderabad: 20/04/16
Passports received through Bluedart : 11/05/16

Chennai processing times are around 10 days for visitor visas according to the UKVI website
