THanks to ALLAH, one of my friends who applied on 17th September 2014 has received his approval today,dated 22nd jan.

he re-applied the entrepreneur visa well within 28 days of the upper tribunal decision.

The gap was only from when the appeal was dismissed. If he applied for entrepreneur leave within 28 days of the appeal's dismissal, then he should have succeeded with SET(LR). thanks vinny he applied for tier 1 entrepreneur within 28 days of the dismissal of the appeal and subsequently got it. late...

you can post ur application on any day. it doesnot really matter as long as it reaches the home office.
you donot need any covering letter for ur application just fill in the form and send all previous passports, current,bio metric card,photos,life in uk and english qualification.

1-u still have upto 28 days after the expiry of ur visa to apply.
2- u can apply now and send the contract as additional document when the family friend comes back.
