Re: IS Any one applied Dependent ILR 28 days before eligibility date?

PBS Dependents residence starts counting from date of ENTRY to the UK. from date of entry or date of arrival These two are the same thing. Are you applying by post or in person? Your dependent cannot apply for ILR any sooner than within 28 days before 24th March 2018. I think as per latest rules, s...

Cohabitation proofs for 2yrs or more

Hi, We are planning to apply for ILR (5 year route, PBS Dependent, Set (0) Form). As my spouse is away from UK for more than a year (went to India) in the past 2 years, is it still ok to show 2 years Cohabitation docs or do we need to show more years ? Also can we show any Cohabitation docs from Ind...

Hi Ka06, where did you saw 300-450 days, it shows below clause. In addition to 1yr residence rule there are other rules to meet, which caseworker might consider or not.. not sure.. 300-540 for applications under section 6(2) better to wait for seniors suggestions in this group. You are wrong. Secti...

Re: Successful Citizenship application with discretion for 270 days in 3 years

Hi CROO1, My bad we are already 4 days extra to those 480 days limit, so that puts us in square one again. Based on your analysis on this forum, have you seen anyone successful with BC application with absences exceeding either 270 days (3 year route) or 450 days (5 year route) with discretion ? Tha...

Re: Successful Citizenship application with discretion for 270 days in 3 years

I thought Section 6(1) is for Tier 1 Main applicants (ILR + 1 yr) There are more routes to ILR and BC than Tier 1. Section 6(1) is for ALL routes based on 5 years residence. and section 6(2) for Spouse of BC It is yes, but she can state 6(1) 5 years in the form. So even I need to go with Section 6(...

Re: Successful Citizenship application with discretion for 270 days in 3 years

Thanks CR001,

If we need to wait... it will be till 2020, as the bulk of the absenses were due to single trip on her maternity leave.

Regarding 5 years residence, is this a new route.. I thought she can only apply as spouse of BC (3 years route).

Thanks,
Sri.
