Well yes, you should not just take the money from the company. The Board of Directors needs to pass a resolution.

My friend has been told she is not British but an overstayer No she hasn't been told that! She already knew she was not British. I concur with Amber above, she is in serious trouble and it is essential that she seeks legal advice. Based upon what you have posted, not only has she committed immigrat...

So you are studying in the UK, but are you exercising Treaty Rights in the UK? The point is ... do you have comprehensive sickness insurance? If in doubt have a look at this UKBA webpage . If you are exercising Treaty Rights in the UK then it should be possible to get an EEA Family Permit issued, to...

In my opinion just a question of time before UKBA lose yet another case.

My comment continues to be, pay the fee, get the desired document, ask for the fee back, then when they refuse, sue in the Small Claims Court!

So the new baby will be British from the moment of birth, even if born in India. But do appreciate that your baby ...

OK on reflection Biomedical Scientist should be alright. I agree with what neoseal has posted.

This whole thing is becoming a nonsense given Director of Limited Company is on the list and anyone can be a Director, and it only costs £14 at Companies House to form a company!

Do you think that makes her a professional and therefore acceptable by the H.O.? In my opinion the answer is "no". But the question is, why has the Health Professions Council registered her, what qualification did she need? Also, assuming she fills in the relevant part of the form AN, wha...

I think you have already written the letter above. You just need to refer to annex B article 7.5 (G), to ensure that they understand why the application is being made on or after 02.11.13.

Can I apply 02 Oct 2013 (15 months from the day I applied ILR) ? As long as you were in no way to blame for the delay then the answer is "Yes"! Except you need to do the maths correctly ..... wait until 02.11.13. But if for example UKBA queried something and you look a long time to reply,...

You do not want a partner visa, you need to apply for a spouse visa.

As regards whether your funds are sufficient, please tell us .... are there any children in your household? If so, how many?

bushra, unless you are indeed the spouse or civil partner of a British Citizen you have fallen foul of a very basic rule, one that has been mentioned many times on this Board. Further, as regards this particular rule, UKBA have no discretion , the legislation is clear on that point. Simply the appli...

This is something we noticed and have considered, but we're not sure it would be the most practical option as unfortunately we don't really have any experience.

So as it says on that page :-
The UK is committed to providing a visa service to Iranian nationals, despite the closure of our embassy in Tehran. Iranian nationals may submit applications for visas at other embassies in the region.
