I am also in the same situation where i spent 120,days out of uk when i was unemployed. Can you please let me know the outcome of your ilr application and what reason you have written for the absence. Thanks in advance for your help. Hope to hear soon from you.

Yed TOC form seems to be correct one. I have applied name chnge for my wife through TOC form last week. I jave got the acknoledgement for the reciept of the application. Will keep you updated on my application..

There is no requirement to be employed during 5 year qualifying period for ILR but if you are un employed and go out of uk for couple of months means you are not financially active anf not even trying to do so. I am also in the same boat and may have to apply extn before april 2015 and it will be 9 months before tier 1 gets expired.

I am also in the same situation. I spent 4 months outside UK during the first year and after that all the absence were paid holidays. I am due ILR in dec 2015. Not sure if i should go for extn as extn will be closed by april 2015?

I am also facing the same issue. I had applied it on 29th jan and still no news. However they asked me to resubmit the photographs as per the new request when i asked them the status of my application. Not sure whats going on and i know its frustrating. Please if anybody has applied around same time...
