If you are applying as an experienced cadidate yes you can pro rate it down as you mentioned in your post.

Also you cannot actually apply as experienced as you will automatically be considered as New entrant.

Hi guys I talked to UKBA employer helpline once and I found this information. Regarding the appropriate salary UKBA will consider the salary of an applicant if it is upto 80P lower than the minimum salary for any JOB or SOC So guys please make sure you paid at least more than 80 pence below your app...

I am not sure how long it takes but i think you will have a rights to work as long as you made an appeal agains the decision. ANY ONE PLEASE CONFIRM THIS

Also it would be helpfull to share more details on your rejections. did you show a lower salary by mistake in COS?

It is the job description which matters . so match a job description and just give the the title as it is in your pay roll.

BIG YES you are conveniently eligible You are switching from PSW so you are considered as New entrant so dont worry about it the new entrant salary for web developer applies to you so your minimum salary will 20300 (NOTE: this cannot be prorated because you you need the minimum threshold as 20300. )

depandants can apply and employer can also certify maintanance for them. Why cant they apply ?
