Re: When should I apply for passport?

as well just use my naturalisation certificate This is not a travel document. You will need to use your foreign passport and ILR BRP card to enter the UK. I was in similar situation, I was not able to apply for passport since I was travelling for work on a monthly basis and weren't in the UK for lo...

Re: Delivery of First Adult British Passport

Hi I have a small doubt regarding passport deliveries ? I had my passport interview on 10/07/2014 and on 11/07/2014 I got a message that my passport will be delivered within the next few working days. As I read that "in most cases, your new passport will be delivered by a courier (on behalf of...

Do Tier 1 G require P60 /HMRC letter for all 5 years ? Is this a mandatory requirement for Tier 1 General category ?

I was also Tier 1 General (before that HSMP) and they didn't ask for mine (Croydon), but I suggest having it handy in case they do.

Re: Absence/Leave Letter

Hi Guys, I’ve been working for the same organisation since 2008. Since I joined this organisation, I’ve always taken my annual without informing my employers what I do with my leave days – of course this was not a requirement in my Employment Contract. I’m due to apply for ILR shortly and just wond...

Re: ILR approved 15/04/2013 @ Croydon

Can we use these stamps (leave and enter) on passport as our UK absent evidence? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I understand it . The stamps in your passport(s) are already evidence that you've been outside the UK which will automatically be submitted when you hand in your passport...

Re: ILR approved 15/04/2013 @ Croydon

Thank you for the reply. For people who do not have something like the 'leave card', will the employer's letter alone be enough? As least you had personal holidays outside the UK and it is not considered as breaking up the continuity. Just to confirm, they never actually asked for the leave cards, ...

Re: ILR approved 15/04/2013 @ Croydon

Thank you for the quick reply! So you provided UK leaves because of the leave card and you want to keep documents consistent. Not because it is a mandertory requirement of UKBA. Is this the case? I don't have a leave card, don't know whether it is enough just provide oversea absences. I provided as...

Re: ILR approved 15/04/2013 @ Croydon

Hi All, Do the UKBA stamp on the passport when you left UK? I do not have any. So, how can we provide the evidence when we actually left the UK? Thanks No the UKBA doesn't stamp on exit, but all the countries I've visited have stamped my passport on entry and I think most of them also provide a sta...

Re: ILR approved 15/04/2013 @ Croydon

Thanks for the reply, then the letter must be quite long! Is it necessary to provide UK leaves as well? And what is a leave card? Thank you very much again! Leave card - a company form stating annual leave days allowed, days carried over from previous year, the leave taken for that year with the re...

Thank you for sharing! Did you list ALL annual leaves including Holidays taken inside the UK or just oversea/outside UK absences? Many Thanks! I listed ALL my leave, inside and outside the UK. ILR approved 15/04/2013 @ Croydon

Hi all, Many thanks for the helpful info on the forum over past couple of days which I've referred to often while sorting out my ILR application. Happy to report, ILR was approved this afternoon at Croydon (no dependants) and did everything by myself. Route - HSMP and then Tier 1 (general) valid unt...
