Re: Correct ILR form advise please

Please stick to this thread for all your application queries. You can apply under the long residence without any issues. You seem to have incorrectly interpreted the note on the form SET(LR). That note simply says to avoid using form SET(LR) if you intend to apply for ILR under the FAMILY ROUTE rul...

Re: Right Application forms

Due to recent (clearly rushed) changes made to the long residence rules that could render some people ineligible for ILR under that route. See: https://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=336067 Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! In my situation I've had a very straigh...

Correct ILR form advise please

Evening all, I've now completed my 10 years of legal stay in the UK and will be applying for ILR in November. However I'm confused with which form I have to use. My first three grants were as a Parent of British child. But then the final extension was as a wife, because my British child is now a 24 ...

Re: Right Application forms

There are two 10-year routes to ILR for such a person. One is the long residence route and the other is the 10-year family route. For the long residence, form SET(LR) is used: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/set-lr For the 10-year family route, form settlement-adult-relative is use...

Re: When did you first arrived in the UK ? - illegal entry

That rule applies only for the lawful residence during the qualifying period. They do also look at breaches in the 10 years before the application. Breaches i.e. - criminal convictions, council tax debt, etcetra For immigration breaches ie - overstaying, illegal entry they have now changed it to 5 ...

Re: When did you first arrived in the UK ? - illegal entry

Thank you for reply, I believe that on June 2022 Nationality and Borders Act 2022 (NABA 2022) has amended this law, which states basically that they might disregard immigration breaches before 5 years if some other conditions as a good character are meet. Prior to 28 June 2022, immigration breaches...

Do I have to submit any supporting documents for cohabitation and subsisting marriage since my previous visa grant?
No.
Or would the minimum list of documents ie passports, English test, LIUK test (as been advised on this forum) will suffice?
Yes.
Thank you! πŸ™

ILR (LR)

Evening all! I've almost completed my 10 year long legal residence (although my actual residence is closer to 25 years πŸ˜”). I'm going to apply for ILR based on long residence, although my latest leave to remain was granted as a wife of British citizen (my previous 3 grants were for a parent of Britis...

Re: 'undeclared' relationship on FLRO(P)-deception?

You can be together with someone and not term it a relationship or committed relationship. That's why you sometimes hear that a relationship is not official or it is I E. Do not fret yourself on what's is not Yes this makes sense of course! I just wanted to ger second opinion and a bit of reassuran...

I'm in a similar boat- we got married in September but haven't got much proof of cohabitation just yet and due to apply for spouse visa in April also in UK already.
Hopefully you will get some answers on here!

'undeclared' relationship on FLRO(P)-deception?

Afternoon all! I'm currently in a bit of a conundrum here. I was previously granted as a mother of British child and when I done my last extension in 2019 I explicitly stated that I am single and do not have a partner. I had to do that because I'm aware that if you declare your relationship, ...

Lol it’s not luck! The accountant told him they the HRMC portal no longer provides SA302 except tax overview and tax calculation. He also has a friend who submitted the same and was also approved.
Oh I see! In which case it's great news! Less paperwork to chase! Thanks!

Re: Parent of a British Child 10 year route final extension to 5 year parent route

I would appreciate if anyone can help me out. I'm about to go for our first extension on a 10 year route parent on private life. Our daughter was born in the UK and we applied 2.5 years ago for leave to remain under the 7 year residency. I have read I could try to switch from 10 years to 5 years an...
