ILR - balance in the account

I will soon be applying for ILR (Currently on Tier 1 General) - do I need to show a minimum balance in my account for one year - if so, how much is it?

(I remember for Tier 1 G extension it was at least £900 in 12 consecutive months)

Thanks

Can anyone tell me whether it is essential to first apply for ILR or I can directly apply for citizenship when my Tier 1 (General) is completed.

Hello, I would like to bring my mum as an elderly dependent on my ILR after one year. What all should I do to prepare for this? She is in her 70s, a widow and no other sibling. How can I show that she is financially and emotionally dependent on me? What else do I need to do from now onwards? On one ...

Elderly mother as dependent on ILR

How can I (as UK sponsor) or ECO establish that the elderly dependent relative has no access to care in India? and cannot perform everyday tasks? What documents will be required to prove this? On one hand UKBA is saying that elderly relative should be incapable of performing everyday tasks themselve...

congratulations on your successful application. I have a query regarding absences - you mentioned that you had personal holidays so is it OK to show brief periods of absence (within 180 days limit and included in paid annual leave) varying from 7-19 days? I am concerned as in some places the UKBA we...

congratulations on your successful application.

Can you let me know whether the absences can be for short trips (nothing to do with business trips or serious compelling reasons). I have made brief trips to India 7-20 days, total 101 so far and concerned whether all will be OK.
Thanks

I am concerned about my absences (which are much less than 180 days in each consecutive year) but the absences are mainly family and summer trips to India and they are also within the annual leave. Is it OK? Is it necessary that absences can only b...
