Re: Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

They were emotionless but I was overwhelmed with emotions and we quickly rushed out and I wanted to get back home and just feel the freedom :-) They were English .. May be they are trained to behave like that .. It was quite a nerve wracking exper...

Re: Anyone from University of Rajasthan? Points for English

There are 3 ways you could resolve this 1. Get a letter from your university stating that this degree (which you have) was taught in English 2. Get a NARIC English Language Certificate (ELA). This costs £55 but they will also ask you to get degree taught in English letter from the university. 3. Giv...

Re: Is my wife eligible for ILR. If not then when?

It appears that while applying for her extension, you filled up a different form. You are now given a different visa and this has reset the clock for your wife and she now has to wait for 5 years. Do you remember which form did you fill while applying for her extension ? Further answer would depend ...

Re: Is my wife eligible for ILR. If not then when?

If she came in April 2011 on a Tier 1 Dependent visa then she has been eligible ever since April 2013.

Tier 1 Dependents who applied after 9th July 2012 have to wait for 5 years and in your case she just had to wait for 2 years which is already over in April 2013 :)

Good luck

Re: Is tax amendment a good idea

If the application to home office in in April and you show April-March salary, then can they not match the data with HMRC ? There have been some cases where applications have been refused because the figures did not match. We do not know what system they use and how they match the records so why tak...

Re: Qualification and English language

mjm9691 you are again confusing. NARIC letter is not mandatory. If the degree appears in the points based calculator, then NARIC letter is not required. If you still want to get the NARIC letter, then only English Language Assessment is fine and I have a written confirmation from the home office reg...

Re: Option to choose in SET (O) form and IHS Surcharge

1. I think this section only asks about the main applicant, so it should be Tier 2 Migrant
2. There is no Health surcharge for ILR applicants.

Re: Changing from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General and ILR

1. Your 5 year period will start on the date when you/your wife switch to Tier 2 General. For example, if you switch tomorrow, then your 5 year anniversary will be on 24th June 2020. 2. People on Tier 2 ICT (who have applied after 6th April 2010), cannot count their time towards ILR. You cannot coun...

I have written "Bank Statements from March-2014 to May-2015" in that section

For cohabitation documents also, I have written in a descriptive way.

Re: PEO appointment@CROYDON on 29th June

Thanks a lot guys for your concerns.

I would submit from March-14 to Feb-15. Even if they exclude my March-14 salary, I am way above the mark so not much of a concern. :-)
