I am also not submitting any proof of qualification but I will take my original Master's degree as a backup and will show in case they ask for it.

Re: PEO appointment@CROYDON on 29th June

You are correct. The rule says that I can select any consecutive 12 months from the last 15 months. So, I have selected Mar-2014 to Feb-2015. Is it any confusing ?

Re: Applying ILR / Tier 2

Has she used this IELTS certificate in any of her prior application ? If yes then she can again use it without any problem.

If not, then if this IELTS certificate is still valid (not expired) and is in the list of Home Office's English Qualifications, then she can use it.

Good luck

Re: ILR query-Urgent help needed

Arvind, The requirement has changed. Earlier, you only needed to submit Life in UK test certificate but now, you have to submit 2 documents. 1. Life in UK Test certificate which you already have. There is no expiry so the same certificate will be good. 2. Knowledge of Language. You have to prove tha...

Hi, I am also in a similar situation. I have my ILR PEO appointment on 29th of this month. 1. for English language can I again submit my expired IELTS to cover this requirement? Yes, you can submit the same IELTS certificate which has expired now but the expiry does not matter as it was earlier acce...

Re: ILR Application query - Tier2 (ICT) -> Tier1(General) ->

It can include Tier 2 ICT ONLY if you applied for this Tier 2 ICT before 6th of April 2010. Since you applied after that (July-2010), it will not be counted for your continuous period. Start counting from 2011 onwards. This means that you will not be eligible before Jan-2016 Before Tier System (intr...

Re: When can I be illigible for ILR?

I thought I had read it somewhere in the continuous period document (will look again). However, there is also a question on the application (7.11) asking - How long have you lived in the UK? years months: - Please provide details of any periods of absence of more than six months during that time. -...

Re: help needed any suggestion please

The extensions for Tier 1 are closed after April 2015 and not 2018. After April 2018, there will be no more ILR for Tier 1 but I am not sure what would happen in your case.

Wait for seniors to reply.

Good luck

She has to spend 5 years in the UK because she was granted the visa after 6th of July 2012. Dependants, who applied before 6th of July 2012, only have to spend 2 years but your spouse does not fall in that case. You have to keep extending her visa until she complete 5 years and then she will be elig...

Zum, the last answer is wrong. rest all seem perfect. The full question 6.1 is "6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based ." The application is ...

Re: How to count 5 years for ILR.

I think you will have to start counting your ILR period from 2014 onwards.

Tier 2 ICT is not counted (if Tier 2 ICT is after 6-Apr-2010).

I might be wrong but this is what I think the situation is. The seniors can shed more light may be ?

Re: Tier 2 (General) to ILR

I heard some rumours too but I do not think anything such as this is going to happen. The rule changes (if it happens) will happen for future and not back dated. So relax and wait for 4 more years. By the way, there is no ILR for Tier 2 ICT (who got their Tier 2 ICT after 6-Apr-2010). Tier 2 General...

Re: Tier 2 Dependent Extension - ILR 2 months short.

Dependents who applied for their visa before 9th July 2012 only need 2 years to qualify for ILR. Since your wife came in 2010, should would have qualified with you in 2014. Better late than never .. so apply for her ILR now :-)

Good luck
