Re: When can I be illigible for ILR?

No problem .. Also, please bear in mind and be prepared that for 162 days absence, you will have to prove that you went out of UK for a good reason. Do not mention that you went to do a job to another country :-) but you have time now, so prepare well .. keep all the documents solid and ready .. goo...

Re: When can I be illigible for ILR?

Your continuous years for ILR are counted backwards from your application date. If you plan to apply in April 2016 then your years would be like this Year 1 (Apr-2016 - Apr-2015) Year 2 (Apr-2015 - Apr-2014) Year 3 (Apr-2014 - Apr-2013) Year 4 (Apr-2013 - Apr-2012) Year 5 (Apr-2012 - Apr-2011) Now, ...

Re: Am i eligible?

I think to complete 5 years of continuous stay, you will qualify on 03-Feb-2016. You are allowed to apply 28 days before your 5 year period completes. So you can make an application for ILR on or after 6th January 2016. I am assuming here that you came to UK within 90 days of your visa start date. I...

Re: ILR on Tier 1 General Migrant

There have been many discussions around maintenance of funds for ILR and many memebers have posted success stories and said that maintenance of funds are not required. I even had a negative balance in my account in last 3 months and if it is not explicitly mentioned in the SET(0) form, why should I ...

Re: Urgent :P60 and Employment History -Amounts

H Vijay/Nikki, I am not 100% sure but I think it should not be a problem. You have to be economically active but that does not mean you have to work each and every day of these 5 years. Even I was without a job for around a month. I think the point is that you have to show that even if you were with...

Re: SET(o) application form - Question

This is what I think it is. Seniors, please correct if wrong. The form says ----------------- 6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based . ----------------...
