You have a limited time (+/- 2 weeks) from date of approval letter to BOO K your ceremony date and time. You have to ATTEND your ceremony within 90 days of the approval letter. Yes this is what I read elsewhere too.. i.e Applicant has to respond in 2 weeks. can you tell me what if the post arrives ...

5 year work + 1 year ILR, thanks do u mean 5 yr work visa like Tier1, Tier 2 general.. and not a dependant of British citizen..? I am not an immigration expert but have gone through the whole immigration journey from HSMP to BP. 2 things to consider here; 1. You applied in May 2014, so it is highly unlikely that you will have to wait till December to sort these things out. In the current processing times the worst situation ...

I Just had a look at Feb and March threads.. its quite depressing.. All this while I thought we May applicants will hear atleast in 3 months. Would you like your Nick Name in British Passport ?

At NCS I was told that I can choose whatever name from the long nameI have for my British passport but the complications you face is you have to change all other documents related to your life for any legal reference etc etc ..
