Process for HSMP extension after 4 years

Hi there,

I have seen lots of messages regarding change of rule from 4 to 5 years for ILR. Just to confirm the process for HSMP extension after 4 years is that we need to fill FLR(IED) form again for another year and do we need to pay fees for this again???

I have checked with Work permit guys that there is no such minimum requirement on the salary for hsmp extension as long as you are ecomically active. Regarding contracting if your salary + dividends transfer to your own bank account per month then there is no problem.

Hi there,
If your friend wants a mortage you can go to hsbc. They have no clause which can prevent you from buying a house.

Thanks Smit for ur reply. In that case I will try to get another letter from the agency as well. I am little bit confused about my IR35 status. I have seen some contractors working under IR35 and some outside IR35. What do you reckon about it?

Sorry for troubling you once again.

processing time

As per my experience, I think that 26 weeks processing time is not correct. I applied my HSMP last year in June and got approval within 15 days.

You should contact HSMP to know ur outcome.

Passport Date validity for HSMP Extension

I have to apply for HSMP extension in the month of July but my current passport date validity is only upto dec. 2005. Is there any specific requirement that your passport should be valid for another 3 years as HSMP extension is for 3 years?

Regards,
