There is already a program called Knowledge Migrant which is similar to HSMP. yes, but it is not similar to HSMP. It requires the migrant in question to be able to find a job in The Netherlands before being able to go there, and there is a only a five year residence permit awarded. and it is not ba...

No, not yet. There are only some plans which have been drawn out. They'll decide upon them after the new government is in place.

No, the time you were living there as a tourist does not count. The clock starts ticking after you register with the local geeemente as a legal, long term resident.

A genuine student with proper documentation, and a legal admission in an accredited college/university should have no problems getting a visa at any of the UK consulates. I do not understand why consultants like you are needed at all.

Your problem seems to stem from the fact that you want to emigrate to Holland on spouse reunion, and the spouse in question is on welfare and cannot support you. Have you considered other options? How about finding a job for yourself in The Netherlands and emigrating on a work permit? Or get yoursel...

This rule is the biggest example to show why the so-called EU is not working. So far only Austria, Czech Republic and a couple of others have ratified this law, so if you are resident any other EU country other than these (which means, almost the entire EU as we know it), you cannot benefit from thi...

Which non-EU country are you from?

Yes, you can get a work permit for Austria even of you don't speak any German, provided your job doesn't require you to be fluent in the local language.

You will first need to find an employer in Austria who is willing to hire you and sponsor your work permit.

I have a question - is german green card for professional is a permanent green card or temporary. Based on what i read, they changed this green card scheme in 2005 and made it a permanent. Please verify!! It is valid for a period of five years. That is considered 'permanent', the idea being that yo...

If you are not in UK or Ireland then its very hard to get job offer from emploer. What I will suggest that you should try student visa for Ireland/UK. Don't generalize just because YOU haven't been able to get a job in the UK.

Himanshu,

There is no way your wife (she is Indian, I presume) can join you on a spouse visa unless you show enough finances for both her maintenance, and for your education. You will have to provide salary slips and a proof of income to do this.

By "schenegan' you probably imply a schenegan visitors or tourist visa. Changing visitors visas is not encouraged, and can even get you into trouble. I wouldn't recommend it. The best you can hope for is an extension of your tourist or visitors visa, but even that is done only under very except...

According to the new German Immigration law, anyone who finds a job in Germany can get a five year (permanent ?) residence permit. Isn't that something you should consider, given the fact that your company is actually willing to send you there on a job contract?

Thanks a ton, John and the others! JAJ, To answer your questions, I've heard that it is not going to be very easy. Permanent residences are already quite difficult to get. I should think that the new country you would move to will require you to have a stable employment etc. So you can't keep touring.
