Part 1 is signed by the applicant
Part 2 by the spouse
Part3 is ignored
Thanks for that. But in this case, What do I do about the checklist ‘a’ and ‘b’ mentioned above? Do I tick both (since they’re mentioned on my checklist)? Aren’t they both basically the same form i.e. Part 2 for spouse?

Re: ILR application for Dependant

Hi, I've got a follow-up question based on my dependant's above visa application question. As mentioned earlier I had a Tier 2 (General), then ILR and I'm now a British citizen. Within my dependant's application checklist, there are two documents (amongst others) mentioned within 'Other Documents' w...

1. Correct 2. Correct 3. Not required 4. Yes 5. No, there is no maintenance fund requirement or employer letter (her employment status is irrelevant anyway) . You do need to provide two years evidence of cohabitation in both your names from 3 to 6 different sources, spread evenly for every 3 to 4 m...

ILR application for Dependant

Hi, I've got a few questions regarding my wife (dependant's) ILR application. I was the primary Tier 2 (General) visa holder, I already got my ILR (via 5-year route) in 2019 and my British citizenship in 2021. She has now completed 5 years as a Dependant on my Tier 2 (from Aug 2016 to May 2019 and t...

Re: PBS Dependant Visa Extension

Thanks Casa. The trip to France isn't necessary but would make it easier for me if we could go since ticket, etc. are already booked.

Anyone with a second opinion, maybe CR001?

Thanks

Re: PBS Dependant Visa Extension

Ok, so postal is to be avoided. But based on the link you sent earlier, I can do it online via the UKVCS right? I understand that the core UKVCS centres give free appointments, and the additional enhanced centres charge £60-100 for the appointment for biometrics and document checking. And for these ...

Re: PBS Dependant Visa Extension

Ok, thanks. By post office system, I mean the current system. Sorry if the language isn’t so clear. We haven’t done standard before, we do one day appointment generally. My understanding of the standard appointment is that one fills the papers form and posts with all documents, and then does Biometr...

Ok but is it ok to submit court marriage pictures or is it supposed to look like a proper marriage? Does that also mean we need to wear traditional clothes, since I was just planning to wear Western formals?

Re: Tier 2 (General) - Dependent visa

Is this a fiancee visa application (from the context of your post) or a dependent visa (from the topic title)? Plenty of members are rejected for fiancee visas for not demonstrating a viable relationship, Pictures and chat logs (etc) are simply taken as a part of that evidence. Hi, No, it is a depe...

Tier 2 (General) - Dependent visa

Hi, I'm having a court marriage with my fiance in Sept'16. And we are having a traditional marriage in Dec'16 (due to holidays, etc). But she wants to come over a month after the court marriage in Sept, so if she applies in Sept, hopefully she should be here by Oct. Now, I've read a lot of posts abo...

Re: Tier 2 Dependent visa doubts

Ok, thanks geriatrix. Basically, what I understand from what you said is that the Tier 2 dependent just has to complete 5 years visa in the UK, and is not subject to the 180 days absence restrictions. Which means, theoretically she can be outside the UK for more than 180 days every 12 months (even t...

Tier 2 Dependent visa doubts

If I mention the second address only in the cover letter, then do I still need to mention it in the 'Previous Addresses' Section in the form? You might need to or you might not. Re

Thanks for your reply.

Seems like a good option, but I was hoping to avoid mentioning the Birmingham address at all. If I mention the second address only in the cover letter, then do I still need to mention it in the 'Previous Addresses' Section in the form?

Thanks
