Re: FLR (FP) Application in 2 weeks

Thanks awan123 for the insight on the surcharge. I appreciate. Good luck, bro. @helpingperson, I just noticed that more people were successful with FLR (FP) especially if there are family considerations, despite the fact they don't fully qualify. I also read sometime in the past where moderators (ei...

Re: FLR (FP) Application in 2 weeks

Thanks, Casa. I guess I will stick to the Partner route then, while still highlighting the presence of my children. So, do I need to pay the NHS Health Surcharge, as I can't seem to find the requirement on the FLR (FP) form? I still need contributions on the questions 'afore-asked'. Thank you very m...

Re: FLR (FP) Application in 2 weeks

Thanks very much, Secret.Simon and Casa. I am looking to go for the 10yr Partner route (my wife joined me as a Dependent in 2009, though). I am thinking whether go the Parent route, even though non of them is 7 yet. Life complications along the route of my T1E regime meant that I couldn't fulfill th...

FLR (FP) Application in 2 weeks

Hello good people, compliments. I have decided to apply for FLR (FP) in the next two weeks for me and my dependent. I am currently on T1E Initial. I have a Dependent wife, and two daughters aged 5+ and 2+ born in the UK. I will be eligible to apply for ILR LR bar 28 days on 1/12/16 (2 Months 7 days ...

Re: Set LR

I don't think its a requirement. And it shouldn't be with good legal reason. But that obviously depends on the funnel-route incidents. For eg if one is suspected for deception during the Tier 1 period directly preceding an ILR appl, it holds immediate value. But that is simply because one is foul of...

Re: 10 years long residence (withdrawal from studies)

Sorry about the situation. First, what application switches can you make, bearing in mind that you can't switch to some visa categories. What any successful switch will buy you is guaranteed time to LR ILR qualification period, August 2016 (28 days in advance). It will also mean you don't have to wa...

Re: Set LR

First, I don't know much about T1 General. But I am somewhat uncomfortable with the way your write-up is sounding. You made an application for ILR based on Long Residence. Did it occur to you that a LR ILR appl does not at its core, require all the info you packed off to them? Has it occurred to you...

Re: Right to work

Sorry about the situation, Hoque. Personally, I can't think of any right to work category you can apply for, apart from the one you are waiting for. I would assume they would see this application as an appl for Discretionary Leave. However, still wait for eminent members to chip in. You might have t...

FLR(?) for Dependant wife?

Good people, I need to confirm this. Soon, I will hopefully vary my application to LR ILR, while our T1E appl. is with the HO. As my wife would not be eligible to apply yet for ILR LR with me, I suppose I would need to vary hers to something else on the same day. What should her new application be: ...

Re: ILR Refused due to tax discrepancies

"iv) My 10 year is in Nov however I have now run out of my visa and in 2014-15 I had more than 180 days absence due to lack of work and personal issues here,do I stand any chance for 10 year ILR? or dont stand a chance?" My thinking is that there might be an argument to try to convince th...

Re: ILR 10 years long residency.... Appeal decision

Congratulations Tabaci11 on your appeal success. Normally, you'd have to wait to see if the respondent (HO in this case, I suppose) counter-appeals. If they don't (as is likely here being this is a HR issue), expect things to move in your favour. Once again, congrats.

@Ruby2016 No its not broken, request your SAR and you will find it out. I had exactly the same situation then I requested my SAR, according to SAR I am ok so should u. thanks. Hey Legalkhan, Thanks for your input. Does the above mean that mine by extension should be okay too? It does bring hope, an...

Re: ILR Eligibility - Tier 4 to 2

Hi Nzekells, Thank you very much for your reply & advice! Can I just clarify when you meant vary my application after, did you mean apply for extension and change application before the outcome for the extension is given? I didn't realise you can do that..However, I think I may have to apply fo...

Re: Lost passport once, and applying for ILR.

Hello Slay94, Congrats on your eligibility for ILR. First off, relax. Passports do get misplaced regularly. Re the 1st part of your question, the HO requires that you enclose all passports for ILR purposes. But they also have a section that you can fill in, if as in your case, you are not in possess...

Re: Can my ILR visa be revoked?

Stay strong, Star0703. And thanks to Vinny for throwing more light on the issue. Fact however is that you don't need any of this, especially not now. The fundamental case here will be of deception. Has the subject wilfully proceeded to deceive the university, and by extension, the state? If not (as ...

Hi Ruby2016, Good to see you are positive about this. @Vinny, Obie and eminent members, pls drop a line on what you think about mine too. Re: ILR Eligibility - Tier 4 to 2

Hello Blueyes, If your current visa runs out a day before ILR LR qualification, I would think to apply to extend, and then vary the application shortly after (anytime before decision). This way, you'd just pay the difference if the new application is costlier. Pls bear in mind you would not receive ...

Moderators would help more. But I think it would be one of either FLR(O) or FLR(FP) to go on. Please research these, while waiting for other inputs. Good luck.

Re: Gap in 10 years residence....

Hi Ruby 2016, I understand how u feel as I feel same too, having had a T4 visa rejection in 2009 that stretched till further refusals at the UtT. From the tone of your post, I make out that you were likely to have been refused at the Upper Tier Tribunal too. If that happened, the popular consensus i...

@Smiletanvir, have you considered ur wife applying for ILR LR in her own right? Most times, you'd find her qualifying period is quicker that way.

What date did you complete 10 years? If that happened before the refusal date, or since then, then you are okay to go.
