Re: FLR(M) application

vinny wrote:If she doesn't qualify for FLR(M) on the 5-year route, then they will probably put her on the ten year route.
If they put her on the 10year route, can she still apply for ILR within the extra 5years if she passed the tests, or she needs to finish the 10years first?

Re: FLR(M) application

Thanks vinny, and sorry for starting a new topic.

Just to confirm, if she applies for another FLR and gets rejected (I don't see that happening by the way), they won't be able to remove her because of our kids?
But if they don't remove her, what status can she get if not FLR or ILR?

Can we apply for FLR(M) rather than ILR?

My wife is on second FLR(5 year) at the moment and as the next step should be ILR she needs new English language and life in UK requirements, things that she didn't pass. Can she apply for another FLR? If yes, if she passes these within the next FLR, can she apply for ILR before the FLR finishes? Wh...

Re: Can my parents move to the UK with me?

The circumstances that you have stated and their relationship to you do not give them any right to come to live in the UK. But given that they gave birth to you (I'm presuming that they are your birth parents) in the UK, perhaps they have some other grounds to have lived in the UK at that point in ...

Re: What is the next step after spouse visa?

@Wanderer - yes, divorce is much cheaper but don't think this is what OP is wanting to hear LOL If she applied in December 2012, then she is under the new 5 year route. The reason I asked the question is that some applicants who applied before the rule changes on 9th July 2012, got their visa quite...

Re: What is the next step after spouse visa?

Assuming that your wife applied for spouse visa from her home country as switching in country is not permitted on a spouse visa. From the dates you have mentioned, she applied after 9th July 2012, so will be under the new rules of 5 years residence. She will need to apply for an extension for a fur...
