Re: IT job title for referee?

Not as your professional referee no. The list is clear who can be your professional referee, of any nationality. Hi Casa - I don't think I know a person with those professions.. Is there no other way for me? CR001 not Casa  If he is still a CURRENT director of a limited company, then yes you ...

Re: IT job title for referee?

He used to be a contractor and had registered a limited company. His company is still Active even though he is now in a permanent job. I assume I can still put his name down under "director of limited company" ? I really hope this is okay

IT job title for referee?

Hi,

I'm about to make a naturalisation application (one year after ILR). I was wondering if for one of my referees, I could list my friend who works in IT for Sainsbury's? If so, not sure which sector I will have to select in the application form.. I appreciate any help.

R.

You should have uploaded everything, that is the point of the new system.

You surely must had seen the categories to upload (mandatory and optional), one which was likely travel history or similar.
Fair do's. Fingers crossed for the decision today or tomorrow :)

Re: ILR super-priority didn't take my documents or passport

According to: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/uk-visas-and-immigration/about-our-services It should be decided by the end of the next working day, not 24 hours as commonly quoted. Re: ILR super-priority didn't take my documents or passport

The instructions will tell you to bring all your originals to the appointment but they'll only verify your current passport based on my experience. Should be all good as long as your uploads are clear. The instructions will tell you to bring all your originals to the appointment but they'll only ve...

ILR super-priority didn't take my documents or passport

Hi, I submitted my application (ILR LR) via the super priority service 2 days ago. I paid £3200 online and filled in my application two weeks ago, but my appointment was 2 days ago on Friday. The person who took my biometrics and scanned my passport, asked if I had uploaded all my documents online. ...

Is my continued residence broken ?
No. If you read the extract, it clearly says 'with NO valid leave to remain', ie. no valid visa, an overstayer.
That was what I hoped to hear. Thank you.

Is my long residence broken

Hi, I'm applying for Long Residence ILR at the moment. While reading the guidance document: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/605764/long-residence-v15_0.pdf along with the things that would break up the continuance residence, it has this...

They both are qualifying routes for 24 hour super priority service. Or you can use the standard 8 week service too.

Absence limit is more generous with Tier 2 ILR than Long residence ILR.
Thank you.

Re: Tier-2 General 5-year route OR Long Residence 10-year route

Do you have dependents in the UK?? ILR LR is the easier one as there is no minimum salary requirement and less supporting documents needed but if you have dependents, they have to switch visas and this will reset their clock for ILR to zero. Interesting, I was thinking the 5-year would be simpler. ...

Tier-2 General 5-year route OR Long Residence 10-year route

Hi, In about a month time, I will be eligible for ILR from two different routes: Tier-2 General 5-year route and Long Residence 10-year route. Both are fairly uncomplicated I guess. With the 10-year route, I have only once lived outside the UK for 2 months without a visa. For the 5-year route, I hav...

Tier-2 General 4 months gap

Hi, I started working in the UK on Tier-2 General, in March 2014. It's already been 5 years (minus the 28 days in advance that I could apply earlier for ILR). I have changed employment 4 times during this time. All of them sponsored my visa and I got extensions every time. In my previous job, I got ...

Re: Tier 2 ILR Application - unemployed period

I have a doubt on ILR Settlement details and it’s disturbing me all the time. I had my Tier 2 General Sponsor from My Previous Employer from 27 April 2013 to 27 April 2016. I resigned My job in January 2015 and my last day with my previous Employer was End of March, I also know that my previous emp...

Can you guarantee a Venture Capital fund for us?

Hi, Me and my brother have a business idea. I'm in the UK and he is not. We need a business plan that provides us at least £50k of fund from venture capital firms regulated by the FSA (to apply for Tier 1 Entrepreneur). We don't mind paying any extra fee, but something that guarantees that we get th...
