Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

First, congrats to all who have been granted! And sorry (including me) for those who have been denied to move on with their lives. I do feel for you guys. Sadly, after (3 months) withdrawing the JR, HO refused my application with no appeal given. As I have feared, an incompetent person evaluated the...

Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

@ThisYear
My solicitor said that he argued but they pointed out that I don't qualify for a guaranteed right to appeal (expired visa and no british kids). I do hope everything goes well for you and it wont be too long you'll have the positive result.
Thank you very much.

Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

@Believe2013 No, the offer was just - the claimant do have leave to withdraw the above numbered claim for judicial review - there be no order as to costs. As my solicitor said, they can only offer a right to appeal to applicants who have kids born here or you have filed your initial application with...

Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

@Al Haqq Yes that is all they have offered and it was the suggestion of our solicitor to accept their terms. I did asked the solicitor to call the TSol and make them agree that if in any case that they refuse me again they'll give me a right for an appeal but Tsol refuse to give us that. They said t...

Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

Good Day to all! Just want to share and find out if anyone in here are going through Judicial Review. My solicitor received the consent order from the Tsol, that they are reconsidering my application but I have to withdraw my JR. He advised to withdraw it. It says as well in the letter that a result...

Thanks for the words of encouragement, it means a lot to me. @majojo = my story is complicated, came here as a student last 2009 and at the last quarter of the year 2012 I met my partner. My plan was to go back to my country after my visa runs out (december2012) then migrate to Canada. But at the la...

Hi! Just a quick update regarding my application. Decision regarding my application submitted last 8th of January 2013 has been refused. Their grounds of refusing me is that "my British partner and I can continue our relationship outside the UK." The case worker also indicated that althoug...
