yes,Alhamdulilah i was granted "33 months" visa in mid Aug ..... Due to some official obligations i couldn't depart before but like i said, ITS OK to take your time ....

i spoke to a Gerry's person and he confirmed me " there is no time limitation on when to leave " rules have changed,but its always better to arrive soon as possible....
by the way, anyone who's flying on 10th from Lhr?

definitely, sooner you go, better it is .... even its written on the ukba website, you have to spend max time in UK in order to apply for next 30 months stay. one more thing, pls DO NOT get the impression from my previous posts that you should or you can submit limited proofs of your relationship or...

someone told me that you have to travel within 28 days but that's not true, i asked the Gery's guy and he said you can travel anytime you want to ( within 33 months of-course )

i applied from Lahore... and Gery's didn't call me, i checked it on the ukvac link and reached there at 5pm..... and yes, they make you wait for 30-40 mins and there you go then.... inshALLAH , i have strong faith, you all will hear next week .... and hear something good inshALLAH.

AoA, i couldn't wait till Monday .....went to Gery's to pick my passport..... Alhamdulilah, visa granted ( Sum_Alhamdulilah ) i am genuinely thankful to sis Sameena,Sis Javeria,Sis Hello786 and sis Abida for their prayers..... and everyone else who prayed for me, i think i owe you something now .......

As your spouse is receiving carer's allowance you'll be exempt from the new financial requirement. My Visa was granted today.. But my TB Test expires on the 8th July 2013. My problem is that my earliest flight that I can take is on the 19th of July 2013.. BUT by then my TB Test would expire.. 1.
