Financial requirement, wedding "location" and paper forms

Sorry, three separate questions regarding bringing my non-EU fiancée to the UK. 1. Is the financial requirement of £18,600 applied (i.e. a requirement) at each stage of the fiancée-to-spouse visa and subsequent renewals/extension? I.e. assuming she is granted a 6 month fiancée visa, is the £18k earn...

Non-EU partner joining EU/UK dual national; a particular case (treaty rights exercised?)

Hi all, I am a UK/EU dual national. I was born in 1984 outside the UK in an EU country to a British mother and an EU father (of that country). I grew up with a passport/ID card of that country; I did not hold a British passport. After leaving high school, I moved to the UK around 2002, on my EU pass...

Re: Spouse (family) visa, Company Director: ad-hoc payments from business account

Hello, It is indeed points C(ii) and D(ii) I struggle with. I can provide bank statements, and the TOTALS will match (sum of all transactions over a year with matched combination/sum of all nominal PAYE payments and dividends), but not individual payments/transactions; in fact, the individual paymen...

Re: Rules for Travelling to Get Married During Lockdown?

Let's be frank, no one will stop you traveling to Heathrow and of course once you are en route to Pakistan you are outside the jurisdiction of the UK. So yes you can effectively travel out of the UK if you chose to do so. As for you travelling into Pakistan, https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/...

Specialist immigration lawyer adviser (spouse visa, UK partner has messy limited company accounts)

Dear all, Does anyone have any recommendations for an immigration advisor who is experienced with spouse visa applications involving Category G proof of income (limited company directors)? As detailed in my post: https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/spouse-family-visa-com...

P.S. I suppose I could call all these individual transaction "advances" which I suspect they are, but that's ultimately all academic ...

Spouse (family) visa, Company Director: ad-hoc payments from business account

Hi all, My (non-British) partner and I want to apply for a spouse visa as soon as possible. I am the sole director (and shareholder) of my own limited company and also it's own employee. I make more than £18,600 per year; however, I am worried about the way I pay myself via the company. From what I ...

Apply for set (m) using April 2013 forms under "old&quo

Dear all, I am a British citizen married to a non-EEA national for almost 2 years now. She received her spouse visa via FLR(m) in July 2011. We are about to fill in the new set (m) forms issued in April 2013 in preparation for our visit to the same-day premium service. The new forms seem much more c...
