Extending Leave to remain

Hello house, My 30months leave is due for renewal and I'm thinking of applying directly myself instead of using a lawyer. It was based on family life and British Children. My questions are, do I need to provide proof to cover the last 30 months or should it be evidence of all the years I have been i...

Re: Does the 20 year rule still exist?

Many thanks Amber.

quote="Amber"]No, it's a 10 year route to settlement you're on. You may switch to FLR(M) if you have a settled or British spouse and meet the other requirements, that'll reduce your settlement period to 5 years.[/quote]

Does the 20 year rule still exist?

Hi All,

I'm just looking at my options....recently granted 30 months DL (10 yr route) after a long battle with the HO.

I will be clocking 20 years soon (mostly overstayed) and was wondering if I can apply for I'll then. I have 2 BC children.

Hi Rina,

UKVI seem to be responding quite quickly these days....within 12 weeks depending on complexity of each individual case.
