Re: Urgent help - Additional documents requested by home off

Hi there,

did you send your degree certificate as well if applied by post or a photocopy taken by NCS for the same..

I guess if that is the case they might want to have a look of your degree certificate..

Re: Supporting documents

If you are using NCS services you can keep your documents and they can take a photocopy. Here is what I have determined so far and also have some questions: 1. Life in the UK Test Certificates for both of us. 2. Degree certificates for both of us to prove English language ability. Although I am not ...

Re: PBS Printout

It is not usual only if they have any doubts of your English capabilities. I wouldnt worry much about it and send the degree certificate via recorded delivery.

The other theory it could be just that they want to ensure that the degree indeed gives you the benefit of being taught in English.

NO i dont think you should select that option as you are within the limits of qualifying period.. If you are using NCS.. you can check this with them as well..

This is ticked where there is some discretion involved from caseworker..

Re: Dependant Name in BC

If you have paid 906 separately there is very good chance of you getting separate Naturalisation certificates. Have you paid them 906x2 =1812 ... ?

You shouldnt worry about this they cant club two AN applications into one Naturalisation certificate. :)

Re: PBS Printout

It should be the first one as your qualification is comparable to UK bachelors degree..only if PBS gives you 30 points and Language as 10 points..when you use Tier 1 PBS calculator.. Using NCS you have to show your degree certificate and they would take a photocopy and if HO need to verify they woul...

Re: british citizenship for children without ILR

Just leave it blank.. if any situation is not as per the question and you can explain it in details where they have more space.
If a child doesnt have ILR just say NA .. the child doesnt need to have ILR but yes you have to register him as BC first before applying passport.

Re: Passport and naturalisation enquiry

This is my informed guess... if you have lived say around 7 years then the caseworker might put discretion in your favour as your qualifying period is less than the stipulated days.. so i guess you should be fine. This would only hold good if you fullfill other nationality conditions. See this link ...

Re: Advice regarding travel while application is processed

As per rules you have to be present for the citizenship ceremony if you are applying from within the UK, that is why you got a field to fill in about which council you wish to attend the citizenship ceremony in the application form ? I know...
