Re: Passport Lost & Other Advices

Maxiy, Just add the SAR to the bunch of docs and the other list you mention is more that sufficient. There must be an endorsement in your Passport which refers to your previous passport. That should suffice. You can mention in the Additional Info page on your BC application that your old passport was...

Re: Oci for a child on his new renewal British passport

That Is a Catch which is not obvious in the OCI published facts. There is no question of transfer of OCI sticker from one passport to another. Re: Passport Lost & Other Advices

To bolster your BC application before you submit to NCS get a SAR from HOME OFFICE. They should have all the details of your Old passport. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/navigation/personal-data/ Attach this with the file together with the police complaint you might have made in your home country...

Re: Income - NI, PAYE, Council Tax for Good Character

1. Only documentation as mention on pages 17 and 18 of Form AN need to be enclosed in support. Dont go looking for stuff not asked for. 2.Not an issue. In my case the name is always a mess. First name in some banks, surname in some others, short initials are used by the council, HMRC have used their...

IMHO you get hold of a reputed solicitor and present your case in such a way that a)You convince them that your intention is to make UK your main home. b)You can put forth the details of the business you have in UK and the employment you have generated ,explaining to them that your trips abroad in t...

They do not go by what name you fill out in the form. They take it from your previous passport copy that you submit. Stick to the original to avoid unwanted queries and delays.

Re: Invitation or approval. I am confused!!

Contact the Council helpline (a 03 number). They will tell you when your certificate is expected and once you get your invitation, call the number on it (with the Reference) and fix up your appointment. Its a wee little wait. Good thing is you are nearly there.
