Re: ILR (Long Residence) lost passport

I think that should be enough. If you mention it in your cover letter and explain everything clearly, it should not be a problem. You did everything you could in this situation.

Re: ILR Urgent help needed as hubby's visa is expiring

I think you have more than enough supporting documents. Send them all. The more sources of documents the better... Joint or single with the same address. Joint are better than single, but I do not think it is that crucial. I think more important is that all document should be on the same address. I ...

Re: Birth certificate has not been returned, how to get it b

They did not ask specifically for birth certificate, but for any ID I had. Since I have sent to them my passport long time ago, the only proof of ID I had was my birth certificate. I had a complicated case, so I do not think, they usualy ask for birth certificate. Passport should be enouth in most c...

Birth certificate has not been returned, how to get it back

I have received my ILR a month ago with all supporting documents I have submitted to HO. In 2012 I have sent my birth certificate to HO before I have submitted my ILR application, because it was requested by another department of HO, not the one which made decision on my application. I had not recei...

Benefits and application for British Citizenship

Hi, everybody. I recently received my ILR on grounds of long residence (10 years). As to my understanding, I can claim any benefits or public funds I am entitled to now. I am single. My question is: if I claim benefits or public funds, will it have any effect on my British Citizenship Application (A...

Re: PR help Please

You do not need her passport. Only proof that she exercised her treaty rights during your marriage and at the day when your divorce was finalized (decree absolute issued). After that day you need to prove that you were working yourself. Your marriage should last no less than 3 years. You may apply f...

Re: EEA2 REFUSED- Reapply or appeal?

Unfortunately it is not much you can do in your situation. HO has changed their EEA acknowledgement letter format recently so they cannot confirm your right to work. Tell your employer to contact HO if they need a proof. Explain everything to your employer. Show him/her European regulations 2006 wit...

Re: ILR for wife - document address

I do not think that husband and wife must live at the same address by law. So probably you will be able to defend your case in the court if this will be the ground for refusal. But you need to explain the reasons for different addresses on you documents in supporting letter to your application. I am...

Q4. The general rule is: the more different sources the better. But if you have only one source it is still enough.

Re: 10 years long residency .help needed

You cannot submit a new application until your appeal is decided. You have a choice. 1.Write to the court and submit additional grounds to your appeal (10 years lawfully in UK). Judge may or may not tell HO to make a decision in your favour. 2.Wait for the decision on your appeal. It does not really...
