Hi,

Sorry, i have come up with another question:

My wife is on dependent visa here in UK. When i get a new stamp for new CoS, does she also need to get a new stamp or she does not need it?

Her visa does not have any mention of CoS, it just refers my name as the main applicant.

Thanks
Chetan

" Is it possible that I get the COS and apply for visa. Once I get the visa I can cancel the COS and the apply for a new COS and travel using the same visa. Or do I have to go through the entire process again " Yes, you will have to go through the process again. UKBA may ask your sponsor t...

Hi,

A doubt:

When i apply for Visa stamp after the CoS is in place,

1. My visa duration remains the same i.e. 3 years?

2. Or UKBA has the discretion to change?

Thanks

Please check your CoS, usually a restricted CoS has this defined on it that this CoS is valid for 3 months. I.e. if the employee could not start its job with in or till 3 months then this CoS would be void. In that case, employer would need to inform UKBA to cancel that CoS. If you are traveling bef...

Thanks, that was very helpful.

Just one another small question:

1. If my new sponsor applies CoS for me, before UKBA decides to curtail (i.e. before the 28 days), will it create any trouble?

Thanks !

Tier 2 G visa curtailing

Hi, I am currently on a Tier 2 G visa, valid till Oct 2015. I have resigned from my job 24 May and my ex-employer informed UKBA on 9 June. I assume i have got 28+60 days as a grace period to stay here and find a new sponsor. My questions: 1. My grace period starts from 24 May or 9 June? 2. If i find...
