thanks Vinny. My wife and I read the rules that you listed for 319E(d)(ii), but we can not find any specific information that my wife must be my dependent for continuous 5 years before she can apply for ILR. We both (married) came to UK in 2008 and I was an dependent. In Nov. 2012, my wife initially...

If your spouse became a PBS dep after July 2012, she'll have to stay as a PBS dep until she completes 5 years I'm afraid. Was your child born in the UK? Thanks for your reply. But based on my understanding, it said that At present, your partner must have lived with you in the UK for a minimum of 5 ...

Re: Sponsor (A-rated) requested UCOS increase for one month.

I am switching employer Tier 2 (G)--Tier 2 (G). My sponsor is A-rated and requested the increase of UCOS but had heard nothing. Anyone can provide a timescale for the current processing time for requesting increase for unrestricted COS? Thanks. I just got the news that my UCOS application has been ...

Re: Change/ Switching jobs under Tier 2

I am currently on a Tier 2 (since 1/05/2013), and recently have been offered a much better opportunity and hence would like to change my role & company. What I wish to be advised is the process of changing jobs (whilst on a tier 2 visa)? Does changing the job mean that I would have to run my ap...

Hi The monthly CoS allocation limit is hardly an issue. For the year 2012-13, Close to 10,000 CoS had remained unallocated. The average number of CoS applied for, has been hovering around an average of 800-900 per month (against the cap of 1725 available every month). Please see this link for more ...

Thanks! But I still don't understand why it takes such long time to assign the COS to the employer. By the way, my employer is the University.

Thanks. I did not find any information on UCOS allocation time from the HO website. I asked this because I have already booked the PEO for visa application. I am afraid that I can not get the COS ... Yea, in that case it's more of a problem :( I really hope you can get it on time and be able to att...

We are still in the middle of slightly re-formulating my job description to make it match the ones given in the codes of practice closer... Hope I can have my CoS assigned to me by the end of this week :)...

Unrestricted COS allocation time.

Currently I am holding Tier 2 (G) and visa expires in 2015. I found a new job and the new sponsor have submitted the application for a new unrestricted COS for me by the end of May 2013 but nothing yet. Can anyone tell me normally how long it will take to get the unrestricted COS? Thank you very much.
