The only thing HO would say is thay they try to resolve the applications within six months and come applications take a bit longer. yes you can enquire about your application but you can't ask them why the decision is not taking within six months.

I applied in the late January 2013 and i just finish my 6 months time period... now i really hope i will not wait longer enough. Though i received RC 1 some time in the mid of march.

My wife is EU national, i applied for EEA2 RC and i applied together with EEA1 and 2. By this date HO issued EEA1 RC which has no expiry and im waiting for my RC at the moment which is EEA 2.

obviously EU national applied EEA 1 by proving that they are exercising their treaty rights in UK and on the other hand i applied for EEA 2 at the same time based on our relation ship
