Well, it looks like I better off taking my words back. Apparently, Spain is not yet so aware of the directive after all, at least from my own experience. Recently, I took a trip to Spain with my wife. When arriving in Madrid, they said my wife needed a Schengen visa no matter whether she had a resid...

Hi BrusselSprouts. I asked my landlord to update my PRTB registration so as to include my wife - They can do it online as a matter of fact. It might take like a month for the PRTB letters to come into your mailbox, though. In my case, I asked my landlord for the online receipt after the update so I ...

Hi guys. It looks like a miracle just happened. This morning they delivered a registered post with a letter saying we can proceed to register with the Garda!! :) Lads, from my heart of hearts I really appreciate the support and understanding. Not to mention I hope all the affected get good news as I...

Well, essentially that leaves me very high and dry. The Garda didn't want to handle any request until I get an certificate of application from the EU Treaty Section. This sucks big time! On top of that, I just realized they forgot to send back several original documents and some of them couldn't be ...

Hi guys,

Does any of the affected have any update on this? It's been my 7th week of wait for me and going on the 8th. It is feeling like a painful delivery, really.

Thanks

Thanks lads. I guess they're just not overloaded or shorthanded but with all due respect they also lack a solid organization. Correct me if I'm wrong but the only thing coming in the acknowledge letters is more or less "ok dude, we got all your papers and now we're going to inspect them. Now yo...

E1 Form - Acknowledge letter timeline

Hi everyone, I've seen quite a few responses in this blog on the topic I'm going to bring up now so my apologies if I overlooked an answer to this particular case. From what I see, it usually takes around 1 month for the INIS to return an acknowledge letter. After waiting that long, I sent them an e...
