Bank statements will be fine as long as they can see your salary going in, our company stopped issuing payslips a while ago and are only available electronically. When I applied for my extension our company had just stopped issuing payslips so used bank statements with no problems.

Personally I would apply as soon as elligible, especially in these times of uncertainty. With all the talk of changes to the immigration rules all the parties are going on about (quotas, points sytems, etc) I would want to get it done ASAP.

Chess, thats quite an interesting link, looks like work permit holders will be able to apply in person for an extension for limited leave to remain similar to the indefinite leave to remain setup (for £500 though!) Interesting to note though, this is for LTR applications relating to WP holders and H...

New Fees

Hi All, I came across this whilst trawling through the Parliament website: http://www.parliament.the-stationery-office.co.uk/pa/cm/cmvote/50308v01.htm If you look at point 15 it is basically the approval of the new application fees :( I was hoping there would be a great debate about them and that th...

Does anyone actually know when any of this will likely take effect? My 4 yrs are almost coming up (like in about 4 months time) and if its going to affect me then I may need to reconsider my position here in the UK.
