We have recieved our passports and other documents and a letter stating that 'a Biometric Residence Permit BRP will be sent to you in 7 days'.

Hi

I am still waiting for any news regarding my wife's ILR application whcih we submitted end of August. I need to know if i can ask UKBA to have my passport back? its not for travelling reasons but to get another job that has been already offered to me.

It is the day of posting which is the application date, for which you should keep the postage proof. Your Pakistan born daughter should settle/ILR at the same time as the Mother. quite relieving, in that case we have to pay less thn applying seperatley, 1051 for main applicant and 788 for child app...
