Chaps, The IT support is outsourced to India. Recently there was a change of service provider as per news reports. This could be the cause of the undue delay. No, they can issue RCs but that's not much help if they can't print them right? Or lose the passports on the way... Lost passport is possibly my worst nightmare so DO-NOT even mention it :wink: :wink: . Let's hope for the best on the printing front. Victoria, I hope you'll get compensated for this ...

I don't think it's council related problem, is the HO issue as Victoria posted in Match timeline thread: That's what they told us via email last week. That they have some sort of issue that prevents them to despatch documents . Letters might be a different thing but they aren't sending any visas out...

I would advise you should seek help from your embassy in UK by making an appointment. Visit Consular information
They should be able to assist you in registering your marriage in Slovenia or advise on other matters.

But dont forget it is in July that we have seen the quickest turn around in a couple of cases... I guess if your application is straight forward and no background checks required the decisions are within a week of receiving the application. But how would they define a "straight forward applica...
