Re: HMRC MISSTAKE- Child benefit

Don't worry, it will be sorted. give it some time. Its clearly their mistake, if they can give younger child child benefit then surely they took his/her details from the very form you sent them. I am sure it will be sorted. give them 7 working days and then call again.

Re: Physical presence in UK 3yrs before application received

Hi, My wife is shortly applying for naturalisation as spouse of British citizen (me) and we have just realised there is one very particular requirement that it appears she has to be very careful to meet. This is point 1 on page 4 of the Requirements booklet (AN), to quote: "You must have been ...

Re: Tier 1 General Deception on Extension

Is that company still trading or have been dissolved? If it still exists, you can go on companies house website and ask them for the tax returns of this company, to see what they really paid to HMRC. On the other side, I think you should hire a good solicitor who'll help you through this, as you hav...

5 Years or 3 Years, Which one is better?

Hello My wife have been in the country since June 2010, we were married outside the UK. She is due to apply for BC end of June. If I received my citizenship before she apply, which route should I apply for her? 5 years or 3 years married to BC? I meant to say which route has its benefits? Does 3 yea...

Re: Naturalisation (English Requirements URGENT)

I don't see this an issue, if you provided them with a fresh letter from the university which clearly states that you did this degree etc etc, and you have provided this proof in your ILR, then its not a big deal. You didn't mention that if you still sent the application form or you did not? If you ...

They would not know if you don't tell, if you are able to get all your post for around next 6 months or even if you move to another property you can fill in online form for change of address. Absences in last 5 years will be considered.
You should start from most recent ones. Although nowhere it says, you'll have to provide the total days and then grand total anyway which really matters.

Do I need to write a letter to the caseworker explaining that I moved out of my family house and currently living with a friend where we share all bills? You should change your dvla address and mention this in the form for a safe side. You are still going to provide your address history anyway. Let them check that if they want to.

With the new rules, your wife has to be on Flr(m) for 5 years, then she can apply for ILR. For your daughter is the same, she'll have to apply for ILR before she can apply for citizenship. The children born in UK can apply citizenship once one of the parent get the ILR. The children born after one o...
