Re: ILR VS UK passport

But the scenario here is that the non-eu national got ILR through 10 years long residence instead of through the route of spouse of settled British person/family member of EU national. Then in such case if after getting ILR through 10 years long residence whether the non-eu national can apply BC aft...

Re: ILR VS UK passport

Few doubts in the form questions need answers below: 1. The principal of 2 years absence when ILR/PR holder lost its ILR/PR only applies to ILR holders or UK passport holders too? 2. When a family member of EU national gets ILR then later if both partners divorce then will it cause problem to non-e...

Re: New NHS Fees from 2015

I think this action might be undertaken to recover the nhs costs which EU/non-eu national fraudulently claim and used because it looks like a recovery program like bailiffs do. But thanks for sharing this guideline. Other forum think-tanks may put more light on it.

Re: New NHS Fees from 2015

Hi all I've heard that there are going to be new fees for use of the NHS from April 2015. Does anyone have a link to this? As my partner is on the EEA route (still awaiting RC), I am very interested in whether or not I, as an Irish citizen working in the UK, will have to buy CSI for both myself and...

Re: do we need eea3 to apply for eea4

I think your son may have Polish passport not British passport because EEA1 is not PR and cannot usable in applying for child's British passport. Can you again check your son's passport and also check that do you have a document similar to EEA1 which says permanent residence/EEA3. After then come ba...

Re: ILR Exhorbitant Fees

In 1.5 years the fee may be raised from 20%-30% from current fee. You should work & save well from now because it's the best source of income for UKBA. And one day their revenue may compete TESCO.

Re: EEA Permit superseded by biometric residence permit

@kamrnash
Yes its mistake and caseworker repeating that mistake for the last many cases, they shouldn't cancel eea2 RC for visa free entry to EU countries. But after one year when you get red passport then you can again travel anywhere :D

Re: Need immediate help

Claiming benefits means become burden on state and is unfavorable for case. Normally after 3 years marriage on divorce a non-EU national can retain right but sti...

Spain is a part of EU and all EU countries follow one version of directive and directive cover other family members. Spain should allow other family members too, just visit or send email to Spain embassy.

Re: indefinite leave to remain (ILR) status after divorce

It won't affect your ILR status as you are no longer under Immigration control. However, once the divorce is finalised you won't be able to apply for British Citizenship as the spouse of a British National. This means your route to Citizenship will require 5 years of legal residence and 12 months m...
