Re: Difference between ILR and PR?

Can I apply through ILR instead of EEA route? Unfortunately, no, you are on the EEA route and need to make your application using the EEA route, so PR it is. . He can apply for ILR too but it will be very expensive application fee with life in UK and English language test. He can also apply PR unde...

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

This is not just for non-eu national with ILR holders but also for EU nationals who very frequently now through naturalizations wanting UK citizenship because UK is going to pass refrendum to kick out from EU union. Many risky eu countries national like Romania and Bulgaria national also wanting UK ...

Re: EEA (PR) applying as unmarried partner (both EU citizens

I never listen about that EU unmarried partner of EU national. Bit difficult to say as how it works because in case of non EU national when he receive RC then he calls as unmarried partner and can support EU partner. I don't know how your Swedish partner will be recognised your unmarried partner.

Re: Does Naturalization refusal also ceases existing ILR

See also can ILR be cancellable . However, if you are granted British citizenship, then ILR ceases to exist . Whether the first post involve deception? Based on common sense no because working/earning wasn't/isn't necessary to get ILR on 10 years basis in contrary to tier 1 extensions where earning...

My last post on this thread without being political rather as a learner and definitely will refer to my library the historical section that why anthem not use the name of country and its community which nearly all countries do, like Russia too: Russian anthem: Russia-our sacred state, Russia-our bel...

Re: British National Anthem - official lyrics

Rather than attempt to explain how the British Monarchy works, if you're interested, read through this link. http://www.royal.gov.uk/MonarchUK/QueenandGovernment/QueeninParliament.aspx Please don't let this thread, which has been on a happy level so far, slip into a political or anti British Monarc...

Too much emphasis on praying queen than praying entire country and its community  . For information as to what level the queen has influence on policies/guidelines especially relating to immigration??

Yes it is possible that approval letter might have been lost by Royal mail (ukba's twin brother). Yes on Monday call them and resolve this mystery.

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

Hmrc holds data date back to 1948 till now and only big multi national companies follow data protection act to delete its employees data after 3 years. But all other employers do keep employees data beyond 10 years. In my point of view the purpose of that section is to not only ask employees referen...

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

Predictably, for ukba the most important target should be to recover the outstanding/evaded taxes on business activities instead checking the number of hours a student work. The tier 4 before 2009 was called student visa and before 2009 the students were actually allowed full time especially during ...

Re: Please Please need help!!!!!!!!!

But the most disturbing point is the disclosure of tax from hmrc to ukba which now form part in good character. But there only two acts so far been Section 40 ukba act 2007 Section 41 ukba act 2007 And both acts allowing tax disclosure to ukba existing for the last many years and even relate to ILR ...

Then why they didn't went back to check all these when granted ILR on 10 years basis who applied and received post December 2014 and who now will proceed to naturalizations by the end of this year or beginning of next year. The ILR application ask and check same questions which are part of good cha...

Re: Please Please need help!!!!!!!!!

My understanding is the qualifying period of BC is 5 years back from the time of Application for British Citizenship. Not necessarily, as there are many routes to settlement, with different residential qualifying periods, which then lead to naturalisation. Additionally, to ensure that the applicant...

@sagareva So how about for the those people especially students who didn't work and get funds from back home. Will they have to send evidence of those funds? And doesn't it correct that an applicant should try to remember the dates of all previous employment history to write in form because for a lo...

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

If you all turn to the fate of those who filed before 11th December and told their apps were straightforward, then thanks to John Vine they were all placed on hold and sent letters asking to "explain how they were supporting themselves"? That was an attempt to fish for admission of illega...

Re: EEA 2 airport Trouble

Like officer to officer i think it also depends on UK airport to airport. But no country in Europe follow 100% to the EU directive. If any EU country place stamp on entrance then its always best to voluntarily get your passport be stamped on departure from there. Just like that if some of the EU cou...

Re: EEA 2 airport Trouble

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

There is a joint memorandum signed between ukba and hmrc to exchange information although they are not fully obliged too. In my point of view, a lot applicants will suffer especially those ones who cheated taxes or have outstanding taxes. In my points the following threat level out of 100. Tier 1 ap...

Re: Does Naturalization refusal also ceases existing ILR

I do not think that there is much difference between the checks they make during granting ILR and naturalization. Because they invented the term "Good Character" but already its all ingredients they check before granting ILR then isn't that stupidity to re-check again :x  ??

Does Naturalization refusal also ceases existing ILR

hello members,
If a naturalization application refuses due to having some problems in immigration history like breach of visa condition for example a student work full time during some period then whether the refusal also cancels existing ILR or ILR continue to exist?????
