Re: EEA2 Appeal Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

We just received the residence card for my girlfriend (unmarried partner) today. We applied in July 2013. COA with right to work July 2013. Refused in September 2013. Sent letter of reconsideration and appeal in September 2013. Last date to send documents to Tribunal of appeals - 12/12/2013. Case wa...

Re: EEA2 Appeal Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

We sent our appeal in September.
Last day to submit documents was December 12th 2013.
Our case was heard (paper) on January 15th.
Does anyone have experience how long it should take until we hear from the court?
Thank you.

Re: EU Family Permit Income and Expenditure/ Sponsor questio

Hi Was wondering how people have filled these sections in? We are applying for the family permit from Germany on visa4uk/gov.uk/Worldbridge and there is a section asking for ££ saved for trip and how much it will cost? My husband has a job lined up so he will be partially supporting me until I get ...

Re: Schengen visa while on Code 1 A

Hi, My unmarried partner and I are in the UK nearly 1 year now, She came here on a EEA family permit. Now she has a Code 1 A stamp issued by UKBA Calais. Is it possible to apply for a Schengen Visa with Code 1 A stamp? Alternatively, has anyone successfully applied for a Schengen visa with an EEA f...

From your previous post, is it still correct that your application was declined? If so, it is not likely that employer helpline will be helpful. The non-EU national family member can work provided they are a direct family member and that that the EU national is exercising treaty rights. Any means o...

Yes. Point him to page 40. If he wants to call the Employer helpline make sure he asks about the stamp only. Don't mention the refused application as it might confuse the HO staff and result in the negative. Thank you for the confirmation. I will post updates on the results early next week. Just an...

Code 1a Stamp - right to work confirmation

As I mentioned in my previous thread , the EEA 2 application for my unmarried partner was refused. We did send a letter of reconsideration, however as my partner is working we needed a confirmation of the right to work. We drove to Calais today and had no issues with French immigration, even so my p...

I drafted a reconsideration letter and would welcome your input(sorry, its a long read, but maybe other mem...

Yes, we took photocopies. They refused due to 8(5) and 17 (4) (b). Would you know if we can apply for reconsideration? The refusal letter makes no mention of the right to apply for reconsideration. I could also attach my work contract and the last three month of payslips (I only just started my job...

Some refusal don't give you an option to apply for reconsideration as opposed to before. They simply ask you to appeal, reapply or leave. I hope you took copies of the document you provided. On which basis did they refuse you. Regulation 17(1), or 17(4b)? Did they say you did not meet the requireme...

EEA 2 refused

Our application was refused today. Unmarried partner with existing Family Permit. They stated that we did not provide evidence that I (EEA national) am a qualified person, and that they need work contract, letter from employer or similar. The strange thing is, that I supplied a letter from my employ...

It must be the newly designed way of UKBA since they start charging fee to EEA route applications. It looks similar to UK PBS based applications where after deducting the fee the UKBA issue acknowledgement/receipt. Most probably it must be a receipt and your COA should be arriving soon. Thanks for ...
